fremont exits, then everything actually looks good all the way up towards oakland and the macarthur maze. to the south bay we go now and all of our live drive time sensors pretty much showing speeds moving at the limit including up the guadalupe parkway and throughout downtown. looks like they are out there doing lane changes across the golden gate bridge so heads up if you are commuting northbound or southbound 101. they should be opening more southbound lanes in the commute direction here any minute. westbound 580 free and clear not a single brake light right now on that westbound 580 ride from the altamont pass to the dublin interchange. should be about a 14 or 15- minute commute in those westbound lanes of 580 and bart off to a great start. all mass transit on time. that's traffic, back to you guys. >> thank you. >>> a woman was shot and killed in east oakland by a stray bullet. witnesses say they heard about 5 shots on international boulevard shortly before 7:00 last night. investigators say the victim was not the intended target of the shooter. but no arrests have been made. >>> mo

>> sky 7 hd over the scene of a big fire in fremont this afternoon. you are looking at what is left of the building. and damage is serious. good evening. firefighters are still mopping up this fire. it happened at cnh enter praise, machine shop on pwoing terrace. small side street near the mission boulevard exit off i 6 30 there on the map. firefighters aived the building engulfed and there were 60 employees inside. all we are glad to tell you were acuated successfully. no one was injured. as bad as it was. cnh proud component used in the semiconductor industry and today fire sent toxic fumes of smoke into the air. >> i think the reason we are seeing the heavy black smoke was all the combustible oil, flammable liquid and gases. >>reporter: here's what the side of the building looks like. it's completely exposed as you can see. gutted because the roof collapsed. company says it will try to resume operation just as soon as possible. >> get the people working again. but yes, it's devastating. you look at this and just amazing how fast it all went up. >> i'm devastat

as you make your way through fremont. >>> what's happening, steve? >> well, there's thick fog and breaks in the clouds. peggy over in la fayette, orinda and also moraga, some thick fog. it's still there. most of it is higher. there are some areas where it is very, very thick. that will last through 9:00. low clouds fog, a little more of a breeze on the coast helping to stir things up a little bit. there's a big fog bank in the sacramento and san joaquin valley. sometimes a low process to burn that off. you need a breeze and we're getting some of that. the pattern has completely changed. it's no longer one that will favor any rain for a while. it will favor breeze and fog. and then i think the wind will take care of most of the fog. high pressure is building up in the gulf of alaska. that will drive cold air, idaho, montana, the rockies and for us it will mean high and dry. i think we need it after seven days of rain. low clouds, some of that very, very thick. the fog bank, i don't think it's going anywhere. north wind, more of a northwest or west today but by the north wind that usually

a proponent of peace. i am honored to gain work in fremont and hope his legacy. and his son, fish, who wrote and was published as an on ed piece independent -- op-ed piece indicating the true side, the real side of pete stark, his father. howard berman is widely known as a leader on foreign affairs, who will stand out in my mind, however, is his help while chairman of the committee on foreign affairs in moving through the committee in the house -- in house resolution 121. it was a resolution calling upon japan to apologize during the imperial army during world war ii, women forced into sexual slavery. he achieved justice for those who suffered atrocities in the past and his leadership will be missed. i also want to thank him for his leadership on the issue of pat tillman, soldier who was -- he lost his life in a firefight when in fact he was killed through -- and i want to appreciate that. lynn woolsey came to congress with a compelling story about how with the helping hand from her government she was able to raise three children by herself and have a successful career serving the people of
